This car is one of 32 race cars that was built at MG Sport and was driven in the English MG TF Cup series in the 2001 season to 2004 by Marc Stacy with full factory support. In the 2004 season, guest drivers Anthony Reed and Fiona Leggate were on board. In 2005, the MG received a general overhaul from the factory and was then, afterwards, only driven once on the Donington Race Track in August 2005.
